Lucy R. Rosing [47095:LF] , 77, past president of the Orchid Society, died Tuesday at North Miami General Hospital.
Born in Minnesota, she came to Miami from Salem, Ohio, in 1947.
Mrs. Rosing was a life member of the Horticultural Study Society and member of the Bromeliad Society of South Florida.
She also served as president of the church women at the North Miami Presbyterian Church where she was a charter member.
Survivors include a son, Donald C. [47098:LF]; daughter, Nancy Carpenter [47272:LF]; and two sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lithgow 150th Street Chapel.
