Donald C. Rosing, Jr. of Conyers GA passed away Saturday March 26, 2011. He was preceded in death by parents, Lucy [47095:LF] and Donald [47097:LF] Rosing, Sr. of North Miami FL formerly of Salem, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Peggy Whiteleather Rosing [tba:LF]. Children: Tim and Bess Rosing, Conyers GA, and Cynthia Shorb, Oxford GA. Sister: Nancy Carpenter [47272:LF] of North Miami FL. Grandchildren: Sabrina and Chris McPipkin, Ashburn VA, Suzanne and Thomas McDaniel, Winder GA, Jennifer and Darick Boyd, Oxford GA, Great granddaughter: Olivia Boyd, Oxford GA. Don was retired from General Electric Supply Co after 38 years of service. He was actively involved in Boy Scouts as Scout Master of Troop 479 West Palm Beach FL, & Troop 555 Gresham Park GA, DeKalb Chapter Order of the Arrow and Wood Badge Adult Training. He was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church, Conyers GA. Family celebration of Don's life is to be held at a later date. He donated his remains to Life Legacy for organ donation and Dementia Research.
